If you’ve been playing Fortnite the past few months, you’ve probably noticed the comet that was heading toward Dusty Depot. The comet finally comes crashing down to begin Season 4 of Fortnite and brings with it some changes to both Battle Royale and Save the World. You’ll also have the chance to get new heroes with new abilities and perks to add you to your squad.
Battle Royale
With the comet crashing down, it has changed the once seemingly normal map everyone is familiar with in Battle Royale. Many locations have been transformed due to the impact, giving players new points of interest to discover and see how their favorite location has changed.
You’ll even find Hop Rocks glowing at the crater, and once consumed, you will be able to lift off with low gravity. This will give you an advantage over your enemies as you fight for Victory Royale.
Save The World
A brand new questline is coming to Save The World called Blockbuster! Part one starts with five new quests and a new Landmark Mission. Ray has gone missing and no one knows where she is. With the help of Spitfire and Lok, investigate the comet and recruit a team of superheroes to find and bring Ray back home.
Defeating enemies has become more rewarding. When you defeat the Husks, a chance of building materials, crafting ingredients, ammo, and schematics all have a chance of dropping.
Battle Pass
Fortnite Season 4 wouldn’t be complete without a brand new Battle Pass. This brand new Battle Pass is sporting 100 tiers of new rewards, including new cosmetic items, emotes, and Sprays.
