Tripwire is bringing The Summer Sideshow: Treacherous Skies update to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC tomorrow. Get your hands on new weapons, try out new features, and play as a new character in this Killing Floor 2 update.
Tripwire announced today that they’re bringing back the clowns to Killing Floor 2 in a brand-new Summer Sideshow Treacherous Skies update.
Tripwire is no stranger to bringing seasonal events to Killing Floor 2, and it’s a welcomed experience as it changes up gameplay a little bit. The Summer Sideshow Treacherous Skies update takes to the skies as you continue to kill the Clown Zeds 30,000 feet above land.
The new map you’ll be flying on is the Airship which is on its way to safe haven, or what we hope is safe haven. As stated above, you’ll be fighting off waves of Clown Zeds and brand-new killer robots. The community favorite map Endless Lockdown is also coming with this update.
Along with new maps, come new weapons and features a plenty to explore through Killing Floor 2. Let’s look at what’s coming:
New Weapons
- M99 AMR Sniper Rifle for Sharpshooter.
- Static Strikers for Berserker.
- Doomstick for Support.
- Goreshiv Survivalist Knife.
It will be interesting to see where these new weapons come in to play as the features that will be available should make them deadly.
New Features
- Upgrade any weapon.
- Players can now take any of their favorite weapons and make them viable for late gameplay.
- Players can reset their perk after reaching perk level 25 to get exclusive weapon skin for their perk and vault dosh rewards.
New Character
Last and certainly not least is a brand-new character that will be playable once the update hits. The new character coming to Killing Floor 2 is Mrs. Foster, who will be voiced by the very talented Claudia Black. If you’re wondering why her voice sounds familiar, that’s because she has voiced other characters such as Destiny’s Tess Everis, Uncharted’s Chloe Frazier, and Gears of War’s Sam Bryne.
I for one can’t wait to start killing some more Clown Zeds starting tomorrow. Killing Floor 2 The Summer Sideshow: Treacherous Skies will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
