King of Fighters XIII and Orcs Must Die! were added to the long list of Xbox 360 games playable on Xbox One.
Major Nelson revealed on Twitter that King of Fighters XIII and Orcs Must Die have joined the ever-growing list of backwards compatible games on Xbox One.
Developed and published by SNK Playmore, King of Fighters XIII was originally released on July 14, 2010, but later came to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 Nov. 18, 2011. The 2D features a story mode complete with eight stages and a versus mode to settle matches against friends. The main focus of the game is its classic 2D style fighting mechanics. King of Fighters XIII sits at a Metacritic score of 79 percent on Xbox 360- which is two percent higher than both it’s Steam and PlayStation 3 scores.
Orcs Must Die released on Xbox Live Arcade Oct. 12, 2011. The action-tower-defense game follows the story of the Order, a faction of fantasy characters guarding openings between the land of the living and the so-called death world. After an attack from the Mob, a group of evil Orcs, the playable character called only “the Hero” is left the last alive of the Order, and must defend the portal to the land of the death. Like King of Fighters XIII, Orcs Must Die also has a score of 79 percent on Xbox 360.
