For Anthem, it’s been a problematic release. Not only was public reaction lukewarm, but the review scores have been mediocre. Things have continued to get worse as PlayStation 4 players have begun reporting their consoles are shutting down while playing Anthem. Thankfully, EA does know about this problem and have started researching how to solve it.

However, they can’t do it alone. In an attempt to get to the bottom of this EA has created a thread on their support website specifically asking players to post about their issue. Players who post about it are asked to answer four questions: What PlayStation 4 model they have, their PSN ID, details about when and how the crash took place, and if they were able to report the issue from their PlayStation after they recovered.

As of right now, there are over 175 pages of comments, with over 1,000 confirmed cases. As more reports come in, these numbers are likely going to grow until EA can resolve it.

For anyone who is experiencing these issues, feel free to add your voice to the thread to help find the solution. To provide the most assistance, make sure to post as much information as you can about when you experienced the problem.
