NVIDIA has been bringing a lot of new cards to the market lately, seemingly trying to fill in any gaps before AMD can announce their new lineup in a few weeks times. The latest card to the gaming table is the GTX 1650, which will have a recommended retail price of $149, putting it firmly into the budget range for cash-conscious buyers.

The 1650 comes with 896 Cuda Cores, a 128-bit memory bus, and 4GB of GDDR5 ram. It will have a clock speed of 1,485MHz, and a boost clock speed of 1,665MHz. Unsurprisingly, all these features come in below the GTX 1660 specs. NVIDIA claims the card is 70% faster than the GTX 1050, and twice as fast as the GTX 950, making it an excellent option for people looking to replace an old GPU in that range, or even build a new budget gaming PC.

The card uses the 12nm manufacturing process and will have a power draw of 75 Watts. The card is designed to run without the use of a 6-pin PCIe power connector, but it is highly likely that the overclocked version from different manufacturers will require one. It really seems as though the card was designed for people who primary worry about the power draw of the card. While cards such as the GTX 1060 will perform better than the GTX 1650, based off known stats, the newer card does draw substantially less power.

So far it would seem that ASUS, Gigabyte, MSI, and Zotac will all be doing various versions of the GTX 1650, although the price of those will depend on any extra power they can squeeze out of the cards.
