Pokemon Go: Kyogre, Groudon, and Cresselia Will Be In Raids This June And July
Three Legendaries are coming to five-star Raid Battles in Pokémon Go.
Pokémon Go has just announced that three Legendary Pokémon will be made available in five-star Raid Battles in the coming weeks. These Legendary Pokémon are Kyogre, Groudon, and Cresselia.
The first Pokémon to be made available is Cresselia, a Psychic Legendary that was first introduced in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, the fourth generations of Pokémon games. Cresselia represents the crescent moon. Since it is a Psychic-type, it should be weak against Bug, Ghost, and Dark. Cresselia will be made available starting on Monday, May 27, 2019, at 1 p.m. PDT. Cresselia will stop being available on Tuesday, June 18, 2019, at 1 p.m. PDT.
The next Legendary that will be made available is Kyogre, the box Legendary for Pokémon Sapphire, the third generation of Pokémon games. It is a giant whale Pokémon, who waged battle against Groudon. It’s a Water-type Pokémon, meaning it is weak against Grass and Electric Pokémon. Kyogre can be encounter on Tuesday, June 18, 2019, at 1 p.m. to Thursday, June 27, 2019, at 1 p.m. PDT.
The final Legendary is Groudon, the box Legendary for Pokémon Ruby, another third generation of Pokémon games. Groudon is the mortal enemy of Kyogre and rules the lands above the oceans. It is a pure Ground-type, meaning it is weak against Water, Grass, and Ice Pokémon. Groudon can be encounter on Thursday, June 27, 2019, at 1 p.m. to Wednesday, July 10, 2019, at 1 p.m. PDT.
Pokémon Go’s Raids week is still going on. Raids Week started on Tuesday, May 21, and it will end on May 28.
