There’s a new character trailer highlighting the personality behind Amara, one of the six legendary Sirens in the galaxy with the mystical power of summoning six arms to protect herself.

We’re getting a new character trailer today centered around the latest Siren, Amara. Unlike other Vault Hunters, Amara is moderately more friendly to the people, and we get to see how that works out for her in the brief video.

You can check out the full trailer below to learn about Amara’s unique status as a celebrity.

While many characters who become Vault Hunters are attempting to make a name for themselves, Amara already has one. Not only because she’s a Siren, one of the legendary women of the galaxy with mystical powers, but because she’s quite popular with the people who she adamantly defends. It’s likely the fact she goes out of her way to protect the people that she’s quite popular with them. Many of the previous Vault Hunters introduced throughout the Borderlands franchise have never been too keen for going out of their way for the common folk. The only ones who did were the ones from the first game who went on to become freedom fighters for Borderlands 2.

In the trailer, we see how Amara’s celebrity status elevates her. While she likely enjoys a far more luxurious life, she’s still eager for a good fight. And she’s one of the more dangerous fighters in the game. She’s a legendary Siren who can summon a set of six arms she can use to protect herself.

Unfortunately, we don’t get too many details about how Amara works as a playable character or how the arms are going to serve in combat. Instead, the trailer focuses on the person Amara is and how she’s going to fit in with the rest of the oddball group. There’s already been one for another of the characters, Moze, which you can check out here. We’re likely going to see two more of the characters. Eventually, there’s probably going to be a final story trailer for the entire game, right before it releases.

Prepare for Borderlands 3 as it releases on Sept. 13 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and on a PC through the Epic Games Store. You can pre-order your copy through this link.
