Apex Legends receivers a new server patch to further nerf the Peacekeeper, its most powerful gun.
Fans of Apex Legends can breathe easier now because the Peacekeeper has been nerfed further through a server patch pushed out today.
The game received a significant update this past Tuesday that increased the level cap and added a wide array of other changes. However, fans were still left fearing one thing: the Peacekeeper. The game’s most potent weapon, a shotgun that, when in possession of a high-level shotgun bolt and choke, could shred armor and health in a matter of seconds. Announced on the game’s official Twitter account, a server patch has been released, fixing the issues with the gun: its pellet spread and damage numbers.
Earlier today, we pushed a server patch, now live on all consoles, that included the following shotgun balance changes:
?Decreased bolt hit size for Peacekeeper and EVA-8
?Increased shot spread for Peacekeeper
?Increased spread on final Precision Choke level

The changes to these numbers mean kills won’t be so easy to score with the gun anymore, though the gun will still be potent. The patch also adjusted the bolt size of the EVA-8 shotgun, as well.
Fans have been asking for a nerf to the Peacekeeper for awhile now. When the nerf came out in the 3.2 patch notes, fans were excited to see the fix finally. The short-response time has made balancing even sweeter.
