Capcom unveils reason behind "No YouTube" sharing feature in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3
Capcom's Senior Vice-President, Christian Svensson has revealed the exact reason behind why they are not including YouTube sharing feature in the upcoming fighting game "Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3".
According to Christian Svensson, adding YouTube sharing feature in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 would have used up valuable development resources, which will result in fewer playable characters.
Check out below what exactly Christian Svensson said:
The team focused on maximizing content for UMvC3 that benefits all buyers. If you'd like a few less characters we could have probably worked something out but let's not make out like Youtube uploads are a "standard feature" by any means and more content is more "bang" for the buck.
And such an implementation is definitely non-trivial. It took a long time to work it out on SF3:OE.
And no, you can't just pick up what we did in SF3:OE and plug it into MvC3 and have it work. It doesn't work that way.
Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 is an update expansion of Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds. It is schedule to launch this November for PS3 and Xbox 360.
