Sony Japan via their latest live stream session on Nico Nico has shared new gameplay footage of Horizon: Zero Dawn, the new PlayStation exclusive IP from Guerrilla Games. The footage is below, it was recorded by YouTube user Sasamune Game from the live broadcast. The quality is not up to the mark considering the fact that it is from Nico Nico.
Coming to the gameplay, this is an extended version of the E3 2016 demo of Horizon: Zero Dawn. Some of the new elements showcased in the trailer: there are a bit more of the melee combat, a new finisher. Also, the E3 2016 demo of the game did not have the HUD.
Horizon: Zero Dawn is scheduled to launch on February 28 exclusively for PlayStation 4. The plot revolves around Aloy, a hunter, and archer who lives in a world overrun by robots. Having been cloistered her whole life, she sets out to discover the dangers that kept her sheltered for so long. Aloy makes use of ranged and melee weapons and stealth tactics to combat the mechanized creatures whose remains can also be looted for resources.
