Intel Project Offset Game officially cancelled
Some years ago we saw the first trailer of Project Offset, what looked like a new action adventure set in a fantasy world where alternating views on first and third person. The trailer, though eventually it became old, Now Intel came to hit upon its release.
The game was being developed by Offset Software, a company acquired by Intel that could mark the start of the great company directly into the video game industry.
Now Intel canceled the project after several years, recognizing that many of the developers of the company moved onto other external projects outside the company.
Speaking in the portal Big Download, Confirmed this fact: "Intel purchased Offset Software to improve our game development knowledge-base and to further Intel's visual computing technology development expertise, helping the company offer robust products, support, and tools to customers. With the recent changes in our product roadmap, some of the resources and technologies from the acquisition are being re-applied to help support new graphics related projects. Additionally, other Offset Software team members have moved onto other external projects outside the company."
After five years of silence, After Offset Projet only several videos appeared, Intel Project Offset officially canceled.
