Assassin’s Creed Origins Dev: No Mission Replay Feature, Might Implement It Post Launch

The hype and expectations surrounding this year’s Assassin’s Creed game (Assassin’s Creed Origins) are massive and with just a few weeks left for the worldwide launch, Ubisoft is making sure that they clear all the doubts that series fans have in their minds related to the game. How are they doing this? by taking the near-final build of the game to numerous gaming event worldwide, letting fans try out the demo and answering their questions. Assassin’s Creed Origins Game Director Ashraf Ismail attended one such event in London, he talked with our friend at YouTube, Centerstrain01 on various topics related to AC: Origins – such as whether or not there will be an NG+ mode, if it will be possible for players to replay any missions and many such things. We have the full video interview below for you – take a look.

Assassin's Creed Origins - No Mission Replay Feature

When asked about the NG+ mode in Assassin’s Creed Origins, Ashraf Ismail replied – NO. This is really a disappointing news for the Assassin’s Creed series fans, I just hope that Ubisoft tries to get this done post-launch.

Ismail also revealed that Assassin’s Creed Origins will not support Mission Replay feature (applies to both main missions and side quests), but added that there is a possibility of replay feature making its way into the game post-launch via patch update (currently it’s just a consideration, nothing is guaranteed). This is certainly a crazy decision in my opinion. A lot of us love to play an assassination mission or an action set-piece or a boss fight, no mission replay feature means we will be missing out on possibly one of the most interesting part of the series (for those who are unaware of Mission Replay feature has been a part of every Assassin’s Creed game since Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood). So what to do if you want to replay a particular mission – you are left with just two option to fulfill your desire – either restart the entire game or load our previous SAVE FILE.

There are lot more things in the Q&A video, if you are planning to buy Assassin’s Creed Origins later this month then it is a must watch a video. According to Ubisoft, Xbox One X version of Assassin’s Creed Origins is going to be the Best Version.
