Bethesda: Fallout Shelter Android Version Will Launch In August 2015, “Development Coming Along Nice”

Bethesda’s Pete Hines has revealed the release window for the Android version of Fallout Shelter, the free-to-play strategy game announced and released for iOS a few weeks ago at E3 2015. The title, which has been highly appreciated by the community, has been considered by Bethesda just a gift to the players that have been waiting Fallout 4 for so long, but has revealed much more in the last days.

That’s why this news has been much awaited by Android fans, who have not been able to play the game since it’s been so far an iOS devices exclusive.

According to Pete Hines, who spoke to a fan on Twitter, the new version is coming next month. So in August we will be able to play Fallout Shelter on Android devices too in a matter of four weeks at maximum. We don’t know if this is addressing both smartphones and tablets, too: we will have to wait and see for this.

Hines said Bethesda hasn’t ‘announced a date”, but it should be ‘out next month”, in August. ‘We’ll let you know when we have specifics”. At this point, expect an announcement in the few coming days or weeks at maximum.

Fallout 4 is out for Xbox One, PS4 and PC on November 10.
