BioShock: The Collection has been recently rated by ESRB, meaning that the collection is increasingly closer to an announcement probably slated for E3 2016. The Collection is said to include all of the series’ games, such as BioShock, BioShock 2 and BioShock Infinite.
The Bioshock: The Collection ESRB rating has included the following content descriptors: “Blood and Gore, Drug Reference, Intense Violence, Sexual Themes, Strong Language, Use of Alcohol and Tobacco”. The collection is currently rated M for Mature.
What we expect to come out of this collection is a graphics upgrade to make it stand on par of the current technical standards, with 1080p and 60fps, and all the additional content released so far included from the day one.
That would be a great offer and, who knows, 2K Games could announce it together with a new game in the BioShock franchise, exactly how Bethesda handled the Dishonored remaster & Dishonored 2 announcement back at E3 2015.
