CoD: Ghosts Singplayer Campaign Runs At 720p on PS4 Without Day One Patch Confirms Activision

Some not so good news for Playstation 4 gamers and Call of Duty: Ghosts fans, according to report coming out from Eurogamer, single-player portion of CoD: Ghosts runs at 720p on PS4 and after installing Day One patch it will run at 1080p.

This implies that CoD: Ghosts campaign with Day One patch runs at native 1080p resolution, and without patch, it runs at 720p on PS4 due to configuration issues.

An Activision spokeperson told EuroGamer: “Call of Duty: Ghosts runs natively at 1080p on the PlayStation 4,”

“There was a configuration issue in the retail version on single-player mode only. This has been addressed with a day one software update. People will be able to download the day one update when PlayStation 4 launches in their territory and play at native 1080p.”

This mean, if you are playing CoD: Ghosts without Day One patch, everything is upscaled to 720p including Game’s Main Menu, HUD and more.
