Contrast developer Compulsion Games is working on a new unannounced title. Based on a statement from the canadese software house, posted on AllGamesBeta, more news will follow next month through its official website.
It has already been debunked the chance that this could be a sequel of Contrast, the much appreciated digital game that had first appeared on PlayStation Network in 2013, and later on PC and Xbox Live.
“We haven’t ruled out doing one in the future, but after so long working on Contrast, we wanted to make something fresh”, that’s according the post from the developer.
At this time, Compulsion Games has released two artwork that express the ideas behind the development of this new game: it will be “something new and exciting”, involving “masks, drugs and memory loss”.
That seems something different: any ideas what could it be? Do let us know in the comment section below what do you guys think.
The full message from Compulsion Games reads:
“So, for a while now we have been pretty quiet online. We have been asked a lot about what we are working on (including whether we are going to release a sequel to Contrast), and the good news is that we’re just about ready to start talking about it.
Just, not quite yet 🙂 What we can say is that it’s not a sequel to Contrast. We haven’t ruled out doing one in the future, but after so long working on Contrast, we wanted to make something fresh. Something new and exciting. It involves masks, drugs and memory loss, but we swear it’s not a swinger’s party.
But, to prove that we’re not pulling your leg, above are a quick couple of images to keep you going.”
