Corrinne Talks About Uncharted 4 Drake’s Character Model Polygons Comparison With Ryse: Son of Rome, The Order: 1886

Naughty Dog has openly admitted that The Last of Us: Remastered for them was like taking a crash course in Playstation 4 and they have just scratched Playstation 4 capability, and Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End will look much better.
We have just seen a teaser trailer of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End showcasing an actual in-game level, and graphics/visuals looks 100 times better than The Last of Us: Remastered on Playstation 4. The forest sequence in Uncharted 4 looks astonishing and pretty dense and immersive.
I recently got in touch with Corrinne Yu, Graphics Code and Animator currently working on Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, and talked about graphics difference between TLOU: Remastered vs Uncharted 4, whether or not future PS4 games will look better with respect to graphics/visuals than UC4, The Order: 1886.
Corrinne stated that Naughty Dog are working more on Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End graphics and it will be a lot better than what was showcased in the teaser trailer.
@ShaikhSehran I am and we are working even more on those Uncharted 4 graphics “differences” now! 🙂

When asked, with respect to graphics/visuals, whether future Playstation 4 will look better than Uncharted 4 and The Order 1886? Yu replied that indeed this will be the case in future:
@ShaikhSehran I started coding PS4 as of 2013 and learned a lot.I expect in 2017 when I look at my 2014 code I would have gotten lots better

I further quizzed Yu on Drake’s Character model comparison to that of Infamous: Second Son “120K Polygons”, Ryse: Son of Rome “85K Polygons” and The Order: 1886 “100K Polygons”, and Yu admitted that she supports super high polygon count on character model but other factors such as “skin and muscles and shaders” are also important.
@Corrinne current stage UC4 Drake’s model Over Double the polygons of the last of us ps3, where does it stand as compared to TLOU PS4 model?

@ShaikhSehran I am into super high polygon count but what are important as well are skin and muscles and shaders on those high polygons too!

At the time of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End’s announcement, Naughty Dog officially confirmed that Drake’s Character Model in Uncharted 4 features double the number of polygons as compared to Joel in The Last of Us on PS3.
So folks, expect some more wonders on Playstation 4 with Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End in 2015.
