From Software has officially confirmed that Dark Souls II for PC has been delayed in United Kingdom. The game was initially scheduled to launch on April 25, but due to some unknown reason it will now release on May 2.
In an press statement, From Software said: “This is only affecting the UK on the boxed release of the game. It will be delayed unfortunately and we apologize to UK customers.”
“This is due to a manufacturing issue with packaging. To confirm, this will only affect the UK boxed launch.”
Digital version of Dark Souls 2 will arrive as per its previous scheduled i.e on April 25. The game is already out on PS3 and Xbox 360, and has received some positive reviews from critics.
Dark Souls II features a new hero, a new storyline, and an unfamiliar world for players to survive in while delivering its signature brand of unrelenting punishment that players hunger for.
Epic battles with gruesome enemies and blood-thirsty bosses await adventurers as they traverse through a devastated world filled with death and despair; only those who are strong willed or cunning can survive this journey to achieve great glory.
