At a recently concluded DOA5 Official Tournament 2012 in Tokyo, Yosuke Hayashi stated that Dead or Alive 5 Plus for PS VITA is still in development phase, and current build of the game runs at ALMOST 60 FPS.
In an interview to Famitsu, Hayashi-san said, “It’s still in the development phase, but right now the current build we have runs at almost 60 frames per second,”
He further added, “We do not want the Vita port be seen by players as being inferior to the console versions, so we want to keep the game’s high-quality visuals and have it run silky smooth.”
This is really a great news for all PS VITA owners and Dead or Alive franchise fans. Japanese Gaming website Gamer captured Hayashi playing a development build of Dead or Alive 5 Plus at the event. Check out the image below.
Dead or Alive 5 Plus for PS VITA is schedule to launch in March 20, 2013. No dates yet for European region.
