Death Stranding Will Not Be At E3 2017, Kojima Will Be With Geoff Keighley On June 14

Death Stranding, the brand new IP in development at Kojima Productions exclusively for PlayStation 4 will not make an appearance at E3 2017, according to the details revealed by Hideo Kojima on Twitter. The reason Hideo Kojima provided for skipping the biggest gaming event of the year was: the development team is fully focused on the development. “Apologies to our fans, Death Stranding will not be @ E3 as we are fully focused on development. Pls see me with @geoffkeighley on 6/14”

In addition to this, Kojima Productions added: “Unfortunately, we won’t be releasing new info on Death Stranding at this year’s E3, as we focus in development to bring you the best.”

Hideo Kojima, however, shared a brand new image related to Death Stranding, the text in the image reads “BRIDGES”, it is said to the name of the organization Guerrilla Tel Toro’s character works for.

Death Stranding is powered by DECIMA Engine. It is an action game set in an open world environment, which also includes multiplayer functions. The game features actors Norman Reedus and Mads Mikkelsen, as well as director Guillermo del Toro. Watch the two trailer of the game below. Kojima revealed that the game would be released prior to the year the film Akira was set – 2019.
