It’s almost time, Guardians. Tomorrow, December 5th, marks the release date of Destiny 2‘s first DLC, Curse of Osiris. As is a requirements these days, Bungie has released the official launch trailer for the expansion, which covers a little bit of what we can expect to encounter as we hit up Mercury.
Curse of Osiris Launch Trailer
Curse of Osiris aims to deliver a significant amount of new story content and gameplay features. This is in addition to the many changes that Bungie announced that will also be released on December 5th and December 12th. Some highlights of what’s coming in Curse of Osiris are:
- Osiris story on Mercury, including new characters, such as Sagira, Osiris’ ghost
- Power Level cap raised to 330
- Lighthouse on Mercury becomes new social space
- Raid Lair activity on the Leviathan – World Eater
- New Crucible map
- Two new Strikes
- New Mercury/Osiris themed Loot
- Infinite Forest – a new location for adventures
- Heroic Adventures
- Heroic Strike Playlist
Curse of Osiris Release Date
Curse of Osiris is available for purchase now on the PlayStation Store, Xbox One Marketplace, and Blizzard’s Battle.Net app. Bungie has scheduled maintenance prior to the DLC’s official appearance on the server on December 5th between 7AM Pacific Time and 10AM Pacific Time. During that time the Destiny 2 servers will be unavailable. It’ll also be the last time any of us get to do something not related to Destiny 2 for a while.
