Destiny: The Taken King Chaperone Shotgun

Destiny 2 gameplay reveal will take place in just a few hours time (10 AM PDT to be precise), and you will be able to watch the live stream of it on Bungie’s Twitch channel and on the official Destiny website. Just ahead of the gameplay reveal an interesting Destiny 2 leak has been shared by a Neogaf user ThatsMytrunks.

According to the leaked information, Destiny 2 will run at 60FPS on all platforms, and this has been confirmed by multiple sources who already have access to the game. There is a Cross-Save feature support between PS4 and PC, while Microsoft is holding back the Cross-Save for Xbox One. Due to a deal between Sony and Activision, there will be a lot of exclusive content for PlayStation 4 (more than the original Destiny game).

Now here comes the interesting part of the leak, according to the insider source, Destiny 2 has been well optimized for PlayStation 4 Pro, THE NEXT PS4, and Project Scorpio. Everything looks and sound perfect with PlayStation 4 Pro and Project Scorpio, but what exactly is this THE NEXT PS4? No way Sony is going to release another updated PlayStation console having slightly better Specs than PS4 Pro, so this a hint about the PlayStation 5? Reddit user LifelessAnimator sums up the scenario perfectly: “If Destiny 2 is going to be a 3-4 year game, it’s not unrealistic to imagine they are planning ahead a version that could exist on PS5 based on Scorpio specs for 2019-2020”
