Xur has arrived in Destiny 2 for one last weekend before his inventory expands with next week’s incoming Curse of Osiris DLC. The next time we see him, he will bring new Exotics and new items altogether, so say goodbye to Xur as you know him for now.
Where is Xur?
Xur is back on Earth in the Winding Cove section of the EDZ. He’s hanging out on top of a cliff.
This week’s exotic weapon is Sweet Business, which is basically a minigun. This beast of an auto rifle holds 101 bullets in its clip and it gets more accurate the longer you hold down the trigger. It’s being sold for 29 Legendary Shards.
Hunters can pick up an Exotic chest piece called Lucky Raspberry, a returning armor from Destiny 1. This armor pairs very well with the Arcstrider subclass, as its main perk “Probability Matrix” increases the chaining capabilities of Arc Bolt grenades and has a chance to recharge them each time it does damage. It’s on sale for 23 Legendary Shards.
This week’s Titan armor is Synthoceps, gauntlets that increase your melee range by a pretty large amount. You’ll know when someone you see in the Crucible is using these arms because the lunge is extremely noticeable, and it also improves melee damage when you’re surrounded. It costs 23 Legendary Shards.
Skull of Dira Ahamkara is this week’s Warlock armor, and it’s a helmet that pairs well with the Voidwalker subclass. Its main perk, “Actual Grandeur,” provides additional damage resistance when using Nova Bomb, and Nova Bomb kills will grant you Super energy. It’s being sold for 23 Legendary Shards.
Remember, the game’s economy is changing next week, so be careful what you spend your Shards on, because they will be worth a whole lot more starting on Tuesday.
