Destiny 2 – Xur Location 24th to 28th Nov 2017

It’s Xursday! Let’s see what the tentacle faced git has in his inventory today.

This week he can be found near the The Giant’s Scar on Io. You can find him by checking the planets in your Director and a green symbol will show you where he is. Just load into the nearest fast travel point and bring up your Ghost. The same green symbol will again show you his location.

At the moment, he just sells four Exotic items, one weapon and an armour piece for each class. The Exotic Engrams, sparrow enhancements and other items all seem to be a thing of the past.

Xur also accepts Legendary Shards as payment now, appearing to have moved on from his desire for Strange Coins. Legendary shards can be gotten by breaking down Legendary Weapons. You may also get them from various Vendors in the game if you are lucky.

This week Xur is selling the following:

Merciless – Exotic Fusion Rifle (29 Shards)

Lucky Pants – Hunter Leg Armor (23 Shards)

Mask of the Quiet One – Titan Helmet (23 Shards)

Starfire Protocol – Warlock Helmet (23 Shards)

This weeks weapon is definitely worth buying. Merciless is a fantastic Fusion Rifle that can put out a lot of damage quickly. Perfect for taking on bosses and major enemies due to the perk that allows for faster firing if you don’t get a kill with it. Lucky Pants might appeal to some people. I like to run double Hand Cannons in PvP sometimes, just because they are ridiculous and these pants make them even more so. Mask of the Quiet One never really struck me as being all that strong, but truthfully I don’t tend to stray from my Striker Titan setup all that much. Starfire Protocol is something I would forego for one of the Subclass neutral but more impactful Exotic Helmets if you are a Warlock.
