In my personal opinion, the Leviathan Raid for Destiny 2 was released too early into the game’s life cycle, forcing Guardians to rush to get ready. Bungie is nothing if not consistent and has announced the release date of Curse of Osiris’ Raid Lair. Entitled Eater of Worlds, the raid activity will be available this Friday, December 8th, at 10AM Pacific time.
10AM Pacific. Friday. December 8.
‘Eater of Worlds,’ the Raid Lair for ‘Curse of Osiris,’ will open to Fireteams. The race for World First will be on. We will be watching,

Eater of Worlds Raid Lair
Unfortunately, we know next to nothing about what this new raid activity will be like. Bungie has been sparse with the details, aside from letting us know that the activity will still take place on the Leviathan. The Eater of Worlds Raid Lair will require less of a time commitment from fireteams as well. Our raid group has been completing the Leviathan Raid consistently in just over an hour, thanks to our very own Leviathan Raid Guide. Hopefully the promised increase in difficulty of the new raid activity will make up for the shortened time required to complete it. Though I’m not one hundred percent sold on the idea of having a more complicated, yet shorter activity to complete, I will remain open-minded until Friday.
The Raid Lair will come complete with a Prestige mode difficulty option for those truly skilled fireteams. Guardians will also be able to get their hands on a new set of Eater of Worlds Armor Ornaments, which will be available from Benedict 99-40.
Will you be jumping straight into this new challenge come Friday, or will you take your time to level up to the new maximum Power Level first?
