Good news for the DMC fans, as Capcom has released yet another HD remastered collection of the Devil May Cry series, which contains the first three games of the series. This HD collection is for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The game will now run at FHD 60 FPS. However, the one set back of this release is that it does not support 4K HD graphics. Moreover, Capcom says they do not plan to release any 4K support for the collection in the near future.
The first HD Collection was released for the Xbox 360 and PS3 back in 2012, which ran at 720p 60 FPS and included the same titles as the current one.
Too bad, that the current HD collection won’t be able to utilize the powerful hardware of the PS4 Pro, the Xbox One X or the current generation of PC hardware for that extra 4K resolution.
However, seeing the trend that Capcom follows, they might release another HD Collection which supports 4K. Or, this might just be a marketing trick by Capcom, in which they can make few extra bucks by releasing the 4K collection, few years down the road.
