DriveClub Dev On PS4 Pro Lack Of Blu-Ray Player: “Would That Improve Gaming”

PlayStation 4 Pro’s 4.2 TFLOPs GPU and lack of Blu-Ray player has been one of the hot topics of discussion among the gaming community. To some extent Sony has admitted that not all games on PS4 Pro will run at native 4K Resolution, and Microsoft added that 4.2 TF is not capable of reaching native 4K mark. These two statements surrounding PS4 Pro’s capability from raised a big question mark into the minds of gamers: whether or not it will be a correct move to invest in $399 in PS4 Pro? Paul Rustchynsky, former DriveClub Director, has shared his views on PS4 Pro and lack of 4K Blu-Ray player in it.

According to Paul Rustchynsky, people are underestimating the power of PlayStation 4 Pro without seeing the result of action. On Twitter, Paul wrote:

“Too many people are underestimating the #PS4Pro without having seen it in action #SeeingIsBelieving”

On the topic of lack of Blu-Ray player in PS4 Pro, Paul stated that it has nothing to do with improvement in the gaming experience.

Lastly, when a fan slammed Paul for DriveClub VR by terming it just a “Cash Grab”, Rustchynsky replied that it is not a patch or upgrade, DriveClub VR comes with new modes, tracks, stats, and trophies.

Is it really a good thing to judge a console (PS4 Pro in this case) without seeing the result or its capability? Share your opinion with us in the comment section below.
