Andrew Wilson, Electronic Arts’ CEO confirmed that Star Wars Battlefront 2 will release during Holiday Season 2017, and it will offer players “new ways to play” including single-player campaign, and many other things that will be revealed in coming months.
He further added that the sequel will be “even bigger” than the first game, and will be set in multiple Star Wars Eras i.e. players will be able to access “more locations, more game modes, more eras, more ships”.
Wilson added that the game is in development at DICE; Motive and Criterion. Electronic Arts is very happy with how the development work is going on. Wilson said: EA “feels great about the game, feels great about the overall community, and feels great about the energy that the movie will generate in and around the launch of the game.”
In another news, Electronic Arts denied that they are working on a new SKATE game. Recently, a Senior Community Manager of Electronic Arts teased Skate 4 via Twitter.
