If you have downloaded the Ill-Gotten Gains on PC, you might have noticed that the DLC blocks single-player mods. The 2GB update has crippled Script Hook V and Native Trainer, and both of them allow most currently used mods to work.

Alexander Blade, creator of the Script Hook V, said:

“I wonder if RockStar will say again that they are not against single player mods. Got the patch (1.0.372.2), native hashes are changed, drm code protection is applied to lots of script related functions, including natives itself. Backup your files til ScriptHookV update.”

The Ill-Gotten Gains DLC also includes bug fixes like the reinstating depth of field functions on the Snapmatic camera app and, being an update and not only an add-on, it is possible the block is just unintentional.

We will see if a further patch will fix this or Blade will have to work on another version of his Script Hook V.
