Many Grand Theft Auto V players are experiencing an in-game issue that are preventing them from being able to play game’s online multiplayer mode, Grand Theft Auto Online with anyone located on their friend list. Gamers posted tickets on this issue/bug, and immediately, Rockstar via their Support website announced that they are aware of the issues. The developer also reassured gamers that they are actively looking into the reports now in order to resolve the problem.
In these simple term, Rockstar Games sums up the entire issue: GTA V players are encountering bug after trying to either enter join or invite someone from their friend list to GTA Online lobby or match. The following error message comes up: “Sending invites is disabled until both you and this player have completed the GTA Online Tutorial.”
Here is the temporary workaround about this bug from Rockstar Games:
Try getting in a Crew with your friends and getting together through the Crews->My Crews->Members option of the Online tab in the GTA Online Pause Menu. Alternatively, if you don’t want to make any changes to your Crews, you can join your friends via the Crews->Friends’ Crews option. Select your friend’s Crew and choose “View Members”. From there, choose your friend’s Gamertag or PSN ID and select “Join Game”.
