Horizon: Zero Dawn was a big hit and was awarded the crown of the best-selling launch of an original IP on PlayStation 4. The game managed to sell 3.4 million copies worldwide as of June 2017, an amazing figure for a new IP and also considering the fact that it launches on March 1 (in Europe, and February 28). Guerrilla Games is taking the story of Aloy forward with the upcoming DLC “The Frozen Wilds”. It is scheduled to launch on November 7. Guerrilla Games today announced via Twitter that the full development work on Horizon: Zero Dawn will end with The Frozen Wilds i.e. it is going to be the last and the final DLC content for the game.
When asked by a fan on Twitter: Is Frozen Wilds the last DLC? Guerrilla Games replied: “The Frozen Wilds will be the only expansion for Horizon Zero Dawn.”

The events in The Frozen Wilds DLC of Horizon: Zero Dawn takes place in the CUT. It is a Boreal Wasteland situated at the North end and acts as a separator between Banuk homelands and the rest of the world. It would be difficult for players to survive so venture only if you are skilled properly your fight for survival will not be only against new dangerous machines but also against the freezing temperatures.
Sony recently released a new trailer for Horizon: Zero Dawn The Frozen Wilds which shows a glimpse at the environments that you as Aloy will explore including Banuk camps, frozen lakes, icy caves and more. You can enjoy the trailer below.
