First Call of Duty 2014 teaser footage out, confirms futuristic setting and Private Military Corporation PMCs

Activision and Sledgehammer are dropping hints on new Call of Duty scheduled to launch later this year thick and fast now. Just a few minutes ago, our friend at GameInformer released first in-game screen and Activision launched a new teaser site with a text “Call of Duty: New Era Arrives, World Reveal On 5.4.14”.

Now just a few minutes, the official YouTube channel of Call of Duty posted a new video titled as “Call of Duty: Superpower for Hire”. Here is what its description reads:

“In the last 20 years, global combat has seen a steady shift towards the use of private military corporations, or PMCs. What happens when the highest bidder becomes the world’s next superpower?”

Does this confirms the involvement of Private Military Corporation or PMCs in the game, YES it does because the teaser site mention above also carries hint about the same (three white dots on blurred image).
