It seems like Microsoft will announce a Kinect-less Xbox One bundle soon, according to details just shared by an anonymous but very reliable source close to Christopher Dring, the MCV editor.
Christopher just tweeted: “So just been told a Kinect-less Xbox One is going to be announced. Sources are very reliable but I still can’t quite believe it”
A similar message was tweeted by MCVOnline. It went on to add that the announcement will happen in just 15 mins time i.e by 4 pm today.
So we will find out soon whether this information is TRUE or not.
Xbox One without Kinect is indeed a need of the hour for Microsoft, it is expected that the Kinect-less Xbox One bundle will have a price in the range of PlayStation 4 i.e around $399 or even less than that $350.
This is indeed TRUE, Microsoft has just officially announced Kinect-less Xbox One bundle for the price of $399. Via official Xbox News blog, Microsoft said:
