Hulu is now available on Nintendo Switch

The Nintendo Switch has gotten its very first major video streaming service app today in the form of Hulu. As part of the week’s eShop download announcements, Nintendo has pushed forward the Hulu app, which is available for Switch owners in North America to download right now.

Hulu was first in the race to making it to the console, with Netflix still missing in action. This streaming service is still a great option for Switch users, however, with Hulu’s entire streaming library and the option to add Live TV available for those using the app. It also features a pretty attractive layout, much like the Apple TV experience, with muted colors and picturesque backgrounds that show off the series you’re looking at viewing.

If you’re new to the service, you can get a free trial before paying the $7.99 monthly subscription fee for the Limited Commercials plan or $11.99 for the No Commercials plan. If you want to add on live TV to your service, you can pay $39.99 for the premium service and no commercials for streaming content.

Right now, Hulu is only available for US customer, according to the official Nintendo page, but this could be the beginning for several other streaming apps coming to the handheld in the future.
