According to the source close to our friend at GameBlog France, Warner Bros are working on a new installment in Injustice video game franchise, Injustice 2. The anonymous but trusted source stated that Injustice 2 is currently in development for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Pc and is scheduled to arrive in May 2017, and the official announcement/reveal is planned between Now and the end of E3 2016.
Furthermore, the source revealed that Injustice 2 will be developed by Netherrealm Studios and it will be powered by the same engine that was used for Mortal Kombat X.
Ed Boon, The Creative Director at Netherrealm Studios, via Twitter has also teased the official reveal of Injustice: God Among Us 2 soon. Here is what the tweet of Ed Boon reads:
