Few hours ago we were reported about chances For Honor could be an always online experience, despite Ubisoft Montreal pushing on the fact that the game would feature an extensive single-player campaign for those players not very into multiplayer modes. Now we have a confirmation coming directly from Ubisoft.
“We can confirm that For Honor is an always online experience. Some elements of progression, which is hosted online, are shared across story and multiplayer modes. Players will need to be connected to the Internet at all times to play For Honor,” a community representative said on Ubisoft’s official forums.
At this point, we don’t see how you could dub an always online title just like one including a properly crafted single-player experience after all. Not the greatest news, even though we must be honest about the fact that Ubisoft has always been pushing For Honor as a multiplayer-based title, maybe only lacking conviction when it came to clear state it would not be featuring a true single-player story mode. Is it all about bots, then?
