I got a bit surprised when Take-Two announced L.A Noire for Nintendo Switch. It was a move that I never expected although it was rumored for a while. Earlier this month, Take-Two announced that L.A Noire will release on Nintendo Switch on November 14, 2017. At that time of the initial announcement, there was no word on the Japanese release of L.A Noire for Nintendo Switch. Today, Take-Two sent out a new press-release carrying the release date of L.A Noire for Japan and at what resolution the game is going to run in docked and a handheld mode.
L.A Noire for Nintendo Switch will release in Japan on December 7, and it will run at 1080p in docked i.e. TV mode, and at 720p in handheld i.e. Tabletop mode. Sadly, there was no update on the frame-rate, but we expect it to be a 30FPS. Good deal considering the fact that L.A Noire is one of the best neo-noir detective action-adventure game from Team Bondi. The game has been surely building from the scratch for Nintendo Switch as it will come with some exclusive features – Joy-Con mode with gyroscopic, gesture-based controls, and HD Rumble, new wide and over-the-shoulder camera angles, and contextual touchscreen controls for Handheld Mode.
Are we going to see other and future Rockstar Games on Nintendo Switch? The answer to this depends on how well L.A Noire performs in terms of sales. Suppose, L.A Noire reaches the sales expectations of Take-Two on Nintendo Switch then which other already release game from Rockstar Games would you guys like to see on Nintendo Switch – I am giving my vote to Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption.
