List Of Xbox One/PC Games That Supports Xbox Play Anywhere Feature Revealed: 12 Games In Total

At its E3 2016 media briefing, Microsoft announced a new program called Xbox Play Anywhere, allowing users to play both the Xbox One and Windows 10 versions while buying just one of the two. Morevoer, this service will implement a cross-save and cross-play features, and a shared achievement system.

Xbox Play Anywhere

The Redmond platform holder has provided the complete list of games to be included in the Xbox Play Anywhere service, pointing out many else will be coming in the future. Most of them are first-party, so surely this doesn’t come as a surprise. We’ll need to see what happens with third-party titles as soon as they get implemented in the program or not.

  • Gears of War 4
  • Forza Horizon 3
  • ReCore
  • Sea of Thieves
  • Halo Wars 2
  • Scalebound
  • Killer Instinct – Season 3
  • State of Decay 2
  • Ark: Survival Evolved
  • Cuphead
  • We Happy Few
  • Crackdown 3

DLC will also be shared between both the Windows 10 and Xbox One versions, but here’s the bad news for many of you: games included in Xbox Play Anywhere will only be digital. If you go and buy the Xbox One boxed version of Gears of War 4, for example, at least for the moment you won’t get the Windows 10 release.

It is unknown at this stage if Microsoft is planning to allow retail aficionados to take part to the party or not in the future.
