Marshadow Now Available For Pokémon Sun and Moon From GameStop

There’s a new Pokémon headed to Pokémon Sun and Moon, and all players have to do is stop into their local GameStop to pick it up. Marshadow codes are available throughout most of October for any Sun or Moon players.

Originally announced earlier this year, Marshadow is a bipedal Fighting and Ghost type Pokémon, the only kind of its type inside Sun and Moon. In the game’s lore, Marshadow is a genderless, extremely rare Pokémon found inside Alola. Most hardcore Pokémon fans will recognize Marshadow from Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You!, where it makes an appearance during the film.

Pokémon Sun and Moon fans can stop into GameStop from Oct. 9 to 23 to pick up Marshadow. It comes with a Spectral Thief attack that borrows stat boosts from its target, as well as a Z-Crystal Marshadium Z special attack called the Soul-Stealing 7-Star Strike Z-Move, which rains blows down on its enemies. Players can input their code through the Mystery Gift option on the main menu, after which Marshadow will be delivered to players’ local Pokémon Center.

In the meantime, Ash’s Pikachu is still available to pick up in-game via the “PIKACHU20” code. You have until the end of Oct. 9 to get Ash’s Sinnoh Pikachu, after which Ash’s Unova Cap Pikachu will become available. Here’s the remaining Pikachu iterations left throughout October:

  • Oct. 3 to 9 — Ash’s Sinnoh Cap Pikachu
  • Oct. 10 to 16 — Ash’s Unova Cap Pikachu
  • Oct. 17 to 23 — Ash’s Kalos Cap Pikachu
  • Oct. 24 to 30 — Ash’s Alola Cap Pikachu
