While the internet continues to collectively freak out about McDonald’s szechuan sauce, there’s a new promotional deal coming to the fast food chain that’s sure to delight Pokémon fans. Pokémon Sun and Moon toys are headed to McDonald’s Happy Meals across the United States in the near future.
Over on the official Happy Meal website, McDonald’s teases eight different Pokémon Sun and Moon figurines to pick up as part of an upcoming Happy Meal promotion. There’s Litten, Rowlet, Pikachu, Yungoos, Grubbin, Solgaleo, Lunala, and Popplio, making for eight toys available once the promotion begins.
Previously, McDonald’s premiered the Pokémon Sun and Moon toys in Australia and Spain before bringing the figurines to America. However, the U.S. launch seems to be missing two Pokémon that were previously available in Australia: Pikipek and the Rotom Pokédex. It’s also unclear how long the Happy Meal toys will be available for once they’re revealed, or whether more toys will be added as the deal goes on.
But the upcoming promotion falls neatly in line with Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon’s arrival on Nov. 17, so expect the toys to be around during November at the earliest.
