As reported in the newspaper NY Post, Microsoft is on track of investing huge amount in marketing of their new important product Kinect.
According to the release Microsoft have invested billions of dollars in advertising campaigns for their new two most important products: Windows Phone 7 and Kinect. The marketing campaign for the peripheral for Xbox 360 includes advertising on YouTube, a large presence in the channel Nickelodeon and Disney channels, including multiple television spots and advertising on shows like “Dancing with the Stars” or “Glee.”
According to Robert Matthews, general manager says on Kinect marketing :
Kinect is the largest, most integrated marketing initiative in Xbox history, bigger than its launch, We are going to be spending millions to launch this globally.
