Electronic Arts and DICE have started hyping the official reveal of Star Wars: Battlefront gameplay, which is scheduled to take place on April 17 at Star Wars Celebration event. The publisher (via their official Instagram Account) has just shared some impressive looking Star Wars Battlefront images on Instagram teasing appearance of “Storm Trooper”. Star Wars: Battlefront has been in development for a long time. DICE first acknowledged its existence at EA’s E3 2013 press conference, and showed a debut teaser trailer. The game is powered by Frostbite 3 engine. According to DICE Boss Patrick Suderlund, Star Wars: Battlefront would be “DICE’s interpretation of what Battlefront should be” and termed DICE’s development of Battlefront as a “Match Made In Heaven”.
At E3 2014, DICE announced that in Star Wars: Battlefront, the planet Hoth and the moon of Endor would be playable maps for the game. The game is scheduled to launch in Christmas 2015, tying with the release of the Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Now, Star Wars fans across the globe are awaiting the arrival of April 17, when the game would be shown at Star Wars Celebration 2015 in Anaheim, California.
