Ubisoft has just released two brand new screenshots of their upcoming open world hacking title, Watch Dogs, showcasing game’s inventory system. Ubisoft have added a pretty interesting feature to access game’s inventory system, a floating window instead of pausing the game and accessing it.
You can take a look at the screenshots below and let us know what you guys think about it. Watch Dogs is scheduled to launch on May 27 for PS4, PS3, PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360. Wii U version is not yet dated.
Here are few updates from Colin Graham on Watch Dogs’s inventory system and smartphone UI usage:
“Aiden will be able to use phone User Interface, the one which shows the apps while he is moving”
“Watch Dogs smartphone UI will move dynamically when players walk around, when its open. In addition to this, players will also be able to do pretty much anything: Run, Shoot etc”
In another new, Ubisoft’s Colin Graham has confirmed that more Watch Dogs gameplay footage from PlayStation 4 version will arrive at PAX East 2014. Via Twitter I quizzed whether Ubisoft has a plan to showcase Xbox One version of Watch Dogs:
“Ubisoft are showing PS4 footages of Watch Dogs, what about xbox one? Will we ever see watch dogs running on Xbox One?”
He replied: “I don’t know. It really doesn’t look different though. The two versions are identical in almost every way.”
I further asked Colin whether technical aspect such as “resolution and frame-rate” of Watch Dogs PS4 and Xbox One version are also the same:
“Is it identical in technical aspect as well like resolution, fps and other factors?”
To this he replied: “on the technical side i cannot say, i just don’t know. Sorry. To me they look the same.”
Well the question mark on how Watch Dogs looks and will play on Xbox One is still there because Ubisoft says both PS4 and Xbox One ports looks identical in almost every way but no one has an answer regarding the resolution at which the game runs on PS4 and Xbox One.
According to industry insider Watch Dogs runs at 1080p/30 FPS on PS4 and 900p/30 FPS on Xbox One. How many of you agree with Ubisoft’s claim that Watch Dogs looks identical on both PS4 and Xbox One? Share your views with us in the comment section below.
