Nintendo NX rumors keep staying around and won’t leave before it launches in March 2017. New supposedly leaked information state that the console was due to launch at the end of this year, but then something happened and Nintendo opted for a next year release window. Those info come from French website Gameblog France.
First, the main reason why the console got delayed is because some games were not going to be ready by the launch of it and other unprecised factors took into account by that time.
Moreover, specs are said to be equal to PlayStation Neo, even though the Nintendo NX is not supporting “cutting edge technology”. On this point things are not so clear: does this mean, for example, the amount of RAM will be the same but not as fast? Or this means PlayStation Neo won’t feature cutting edge technology as well?
Anyway, a lot of titles are going to be released together with Nintendo NX, and according to this leak (and we have to admit it, we’ve heard of this before) many are remasters: Skyward Sword, Mario Kart and Smash Bros. are among them. Third party exclusives are also said to be in the works, coming from Square Enix and Capcom.
Nintendo NX could be slated for a reveal in September, based on this source, likely at Tokyo Game Show.
