As promised, Sony has just launched the official 1080p DriveClub gameplay website, currently there are four gameplay footages, all are old ones but we expect Sony will post some brand new gameplay videos soon.
So keep checking. DriveClub is scheduled to launch on October 8 exclusively for Playstation 4. Evolution Studios initially announced DriveClub as the launch title of PS4 but due to some unknown reason it was delayed.
if you want to know how good DriveClub looks on PS4 after its initial announcement, you can check out some in-game GIFs taken from the most recent in-game gameplay footage of DriveClub.
Driveclub runs at 1080p/30 FPS on Playstation 4 and here is an explanation to why the development team went for 30 FPS and not 60FPS:
“The most important thing for a racing game is a locked frame-rate – whether it’s 30fps or 60fps. It’s vital that every controller input you make is consistent and also equal for all drivers. We chose a locked frame-rate for this very reason and with 30fps we don’t have to hold back any of the obsessive visual detail in our game”
