 Pete Hines: “Fallout 4 Graphics Was Never Tone Down”, Explains Why Dev Didn’t Push Graphics As Far As They Could

The graphics and visuals of Fallout 4 has been a talk of the town ever since Bethesda made the official announcement of the game just few days ahead of E3 2015. Many critics and termed it as a 2008 Game and not a 2015 game scheduled to release on PS4, Xbox One and PC.

Did Bethesda deliberately toned the graphics in Fallout 4 or due to some other reason development team on Fallout 4 didn’t push too hard of graphics? Bethesda’s Pete Hines confirmed that no toned down in graphics took place (many articles misquoted him), it’s just that they didn’t push graphics.

“i just meant we didn’t push graphics as far as we could in order to allow for other things” clarified Hines via Twitter.
