Platinum Games Hints At Bayonetta 3, Is A New Game Of The Series On Its Way?

Bayonetta 2 director Yusuke Hashimoto has catched our attention by posting a new Bayonetta related tweet, where he took some time to let people know that the brand is still in Platinum Games people’s minds. Is there a chance to see Bayonetta 3 coming at some point?

We know people would really like that chance to become reality, although the latest game in the series, Bayonetta 2, has been so far a Wii U exclusive and gamers owning just a PS4 or Xbox One didn’t have the opportunity to play it. At least until now…

By the way, Hashimoto said “thank you everyone for showing Bayonetta so much support” and, looking at the possible future of the series, “please continue to look forward to what’s to come”.

It might be a true hint for Bayonetta 3 or just a clue for something Bayonetta related, like anime or short movies which have been already released in the past. What’s important for us as a fan of this franchise is it is still important for Platinum Games, no matter which is going to be the main platform or the published behind the new project.
