 PlayStation Experience 2016 Leak: Sony’s Engine For Death Stranding Confirmed

PlayStation Experience 2016 is scheduled to take place on December 3 at 10AM Pacific Time. Yesterday, Hideo Kojima confirmed that he will be at PlayStation Experience 2016 to host a special Death Stranding Panel. Apart from the presence of Hideo Kojima, we have no other details regarding what other things Sony is going to show or announce at the event. Reliable Industry Insider Shinobi602 on Neogaf has shared lot of interesting details related to Sony’s PlayStation Experience 2016 line-up.

Firstly, Shinobi602 revealed that Hideo Kojima will finally talk about the engine that powers Death Stranding. When asked further, Shinobi confirmed that the engine that powers Death Stranding is one of Sony’s engine, which is used internally only. This makes a lot of sense as most of the funding for Death Stranding is handled by Sony.

When asked by a Neogaf user: Kojima said he would use an engine that nobody one else could have so it should be one of Sony’s engine for Death Stranding? Shinobi replied: “Right you are.” He also confirmed that the engine that powers Death Stranding is not the one used by Sucker Punch for Infamous Second Son and First Light.

When asked further to share more PlayStation Experience 2016 leak, Shinobi replied that he has shared more than enough information, but added that this year’s PlayStation Experience will be better than the last two PlayStation Experience event.
