The end of 2017 may be upon us, but there’s still plenty to look forward to on the Pokémon front. Pokémon Crystal is headed to the Nintendo 3DS eShop on Jan. 26.

The re-release will cost just $9.99 when it debuts, and it will launch with support for Pokémon Bank, the service that lets you take certain classic Pokémon from the older games and bring them into the newer releases. Pokémon Crystal was the missing link for players looking to bring Pokémon from all 29 main games together with Pokémon Ultra Sun and Moon. With this release, the circle is complete.

You’ll also be able to capture mythical Pokémon Celebi in-game after you finish the game. You don’t need a special item or code to do this, and Celebi will be available to all.

This version of Pokémon Crystal will also let you play with others wirelessly via Link Battles and Link Trades, with the Time Capsule allowing for trades between other eShop Pokémon games like Red, Blue, and Yellow.

This bodes well for seeing additional throwback Pokémon titles on the Nintendo eShop eventually, like Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald on the horizon. Eventually, hopefully you’ll be able to play through the entire body of previous Pokémon games on your 3DS or 2DS, which will be a glorious day indeed.
