Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon will be introducing new forms of legendary Pokémon Necrozma, as well as intriguing new Z-Moves.
The latest trailer for the new Pokémon games also revealed new forms for the legendary Pokémon Necrozma, who will be making an important appearance in both games. Dusk Mane Necrozma and Dawn Wings Necrozma are actually strange combinations of both Solgaleo and Lunala, the legendary Pokémon from Pokémon Sun and Moon.
Both forms of Necrozma will be given their own unique Z-Move. Z-Moves are still activated via items your character will be given throughout the game, so if you’re familiar with that process, you’ll know exactly what to expect here. Dusk Mane Necrozma can use the Searing Sunraze Smash move, and Dusk Mane Necrozma will get the Menacing Moonraze Malestrom move.
In addition, the Rotom Dex will play a larger role in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Moon. It’ll have its own set of Z-Powers, including some that can assist you in and out of battle.
These changes will offer some welcome tweaks on the classic Pokémon formula, and it’ll be fun seeing everything fall into place with all the new content. You can pick up Pokémon Ultra Sun and Moon on Nov. 17.
